Detroit’s most elaborate and freakish Halloween party will once again take place at the Masonic Temple, but you’re already too late if you want opening night tickets. Friday night’s Masquerade Gala is sold out, but you can still grab a $100 ticket to Saturday’s less opulent affair. The John Dunivant-created event gives guests a “feel of this strange mix of carnival and secret society” and the immersive experience is unlike anything else you’ll get locally. Attendees are expected to dress in their most devilish garb.
The Halloween extravaganza will also take place on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21. Tickets are still available for both nights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; 500 Temple St., Detroit; theatrebizarre.com; tickets are $95, plus $5 service charge.
